The It’s My Park projects below are open to the public and walk-ons are welcome. If you would like to volunteer with a large group (10+ people), please submit a request to Partnerships for Parks.
It's My Park is presented by Partnerships for Parks, a joint program of NYC Parks and the City Parks Foundation.

3rd Annual SI Juneteenth Freedom Parade & Festival at Tappen Park
at Tappen Park, Staten Island

Join us at the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Freedom Parade at Tappen Park on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 11am to 1pm and stand united with African Americans as we commemorate and celebrate when the news of liberation for people of African descent came to Texas on June 19, 1865, now known as Juneteenth.
