Moana
An adventurous teenager is inspired to leave the safety and security of her island on a daring journey to save her people. Drawn to the ocean, Moana (voice of Auli?i Cravalho) convinces the mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson) to join her mission, and he reluctantly helps her become a wayfinder like her ancestors who sailed before her. Together, they voyage across the open ocean on an action-packed adventure, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills her quest and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.

Cinderella Samba is a contemporary twist on the classic “Cinderella” fairy tale. The CityParks PuppetMobile production sets the timeless tale in the lush landscape of Brazil, where, thanks to the help of her fairy godmother, Cinderella attends Rio de Janeiro’s biggest Carnival gala and dances the samba with Prince Paulo himself. After Cinderella is forced to flee the gala just before midnight, the prince sets out to find the mystery woman who stole his heart, in hopes of marrying her.

The lively production features an original commissioned musical soundtrack that brings samba center-stage; handcrafted Carnival festival floats on parade; and one-of-a-kind marionettes donning their most vibrant Carnival costumes, created by the expert puppeteers from the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater in Central Park.

In collaboration with the Historic House Trust of NYC, Queens Farm is proud to offer a morning of programming designed specifically for families who have children with Autism Spectrum Disorder*.

The program includes:

  • Interactive tours of our growing fields, sensory gardens, and historic house led by experienced farm educators. Structured breaks are included.
  • Opportunities to observe and learn about our livestock, including goats, sheep, alpaca, hens, pigs, and steer. All visitors will get to feed an alfalfa snack to our goats!
  • Optional tractor-drawn hayride.

Families are invited to bring their own sack lunches to enjoy a picnic after the tour. Please note that snacks, water, and juice are available for purchase in our gift shop, though lunches are not available for sale on the farm.

This program is appropriate for families with children ages six to 18 years old, where at least one child is on the autism spectrum. Families must stay with their children at all times. A site-specific "Social Story" and a trip preparation sheet will be made available to all families to assist in preparing for their visit.

Queens Farm is fully accessible, offers indoor restrooms, and has an on-site gift shop open at 10:00 a.m. Free on-site parking will be available. We are also accessible by the MTA Q46 bus.

Two performances will take place, the first at 11:0am and the following at 1pm.
