Meeting Location: Northeast corner of Orchard Beach Parking Lot

Description: Volunteer with the Stewardship Team to plant trees in Pelham Bay Park! Trees provide so many benefits to New Yorkers such as improved air and water quality, reduced pollution, and lower energy costs. Volunteers will be trained in proper planting techniques. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Please bring your own water bottle. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. Groups larger than 10, please contact malena.kovalevsky@parks.nyc.gov before registering.
