The World Health Organization has declared the COVID-19 disease, known as the coronavirus, a pandemic. Due to this, we are cancelling service events until further notice. We are currently exploring options to reschedule, and will share new information as soon as possible.

Meeting Location: Greenbelt Nature Center

Description: Volunteers will learn how to identify and safely remove invasive plants in order to help create a healthier ecosystem. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own water bottles. Space is limited and registration is required. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. This event is funded in part by a NYSDEC Urban Community Forestry Program.
