10/19 Fall Stewardship Day-Idlewild Park Forest Restoration

Volunteer with the Stewardship Team at one of our Annual Fall Stewardship Days! Throughout October we are holding special volunteers events focused on restoring natural areas and caring for street trees across the city. Join us as we journey out to NYC's streets and natural areas to experience and steward the beautiful landscapes of our city!

Meeting Location: Springfield Ln and 149th Ave

Description: Volunteer with the Stewardship Team at our Fall Stewardship Day at Idlewild Park! Volunteers will learn how to identify and safely remove invasive plants and also participate in a seeding project in order to help restore natural areas and create a healthier ecosystem. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Please bring your own water bottle for this event. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone
