Meeting Location: Payson House at Payson Avenue and Dyckman Street, New York, NY

Description: Volunteer with the Stewardship Team to help restore forested habitat in Inwood Hill Park, Manhattan! Some plants introduced from other regions can overwhelm and harm our natural urban forests. Volunteers will be trained in proper plant identification and help remove invasive garlic mustard, wineberry, and multiflora rose. Come dressed in long pants, clothes that can dirty, and durable boots or sneakers. Please bring your own water bottle! Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
