Description: Join NYC Parks and the Natural Areas Conservancy for a winter tree ID workshop in Ecology Park, Brooklyn! Participants will learn how to identify native and invasive trees within the 14 plant communities in this park’s boundaries. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Please bring your own water bottle for this event. Face masks are required and water bottles are encouraged.. Space is limited and registration is required. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. Funding for this event is generously provided by the Jamaica Bay Rockaway Parks Conservancy.
