Description: Join NYC Parks Stewardship and One Tree Planted as we restore salt marsh in Bush Terminal Park! Volunteers will help plant salt marsh grasses. Urban wetlands provide a variety of benefits including improved water quality and storm water retention. They also serve as critical habitat for native wildlife. Volunteers should dress in clothes that can get dirty and close-toed shoes. They are also encouraged to bring their own water bottles. Space is limited and registration is required. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone.
