Queensbridge Park: Mindful Movement Yoga

Shape Up NYC is a free fitness program with locations across the five boroughs. Our fitness instructors know how to make fitness fun!

Registration is open on a rolling week-to-week basis. Registration for each week's classes opens the day after the previous class took place (or on Monday for weekend classes) and lasts until the start of class.

Description: Experience mindful movement through conscious breathing in this vinyasa slow flow class, accessible to all. We will start with some light stretches to warm up the muscles, find balance by connecting body-mind-spirit through a series of poses, and end class surrendering the body to full relaxation. Practice will end with a 10 minute seated meditation to strengthen the mind through concentration, breathing techniques and setting intentions. Come prepared with a mat, an open mind, and open heart!
