Harbor Hill: Tai Chi & Qi Qong

Shape Up NYC is a free, drop-in fitness program with locations across the five boroughs. You do not need to be a member of a recreation center in order to attend a class, though you must bring a lock for classes held at recreation centers. Our fitness instructors know how to make fitness fun!

Description: Tai Chi and Qi Gong Class is designed to improve overall health with an emphasis on the mind/body connection. Potential benefits include: improved balance, boosts the immune system, increased bone density, relief from chronic pain and arthritis and sharpens cognitive abilities.Through movement, breathing techniques and meditation, Tai Chi/Qi Gong practice can reduce tension and stress giving an overall better quality of life.
