Session 4: Children Advanced Classes: Fort Totten Learn to Swim

Advanced Swim Classes will be held Monday-Friday from August 20 through August 24 for any advanced level swimmer who wants to improve their skills in the water.

Description: Level 3 skills focus on front crawl with breathing for 15 yards, backstroke for 15 yards, elementary backstroke for 15 yards, and the butterfly kick and body motion.

Description: Level 4 focuses on stroke improvement which may include swimming the front crawl for 25 yards, backstroke for 25 yards, swimming the breaststroke for 15 yards, swimming the butterfly for 15 yards and sidestroke for 15 yards as well as open turns on front and back.

Description: Level 5 focuses on refining the performance of all of the strokes which may include front crawl, back crawl, butterfly, breaststroke and sidestroke and increasing endurance by swimming for greater distances.
