Sakura Park Stairs Reconstruction

Work will include removal of the existing granite risers at the park entry stair. A new reinforced concrete foundation will be installed and the granite risers and pavers will be reinstalled on the new foundation. Sections of the existing ashlar granite cheek wall and adjacent retaining walls will be reconstructed as needed.

Project Update: The schematic design for this project has been approved internally at Parks and is now going through review by the community board and external regulatory agencies for comment and approval.
