Race Start Time: promptly at 1:00 p.m.

Come run for your laughs! Directly following the race to the finish line will be #LITP Laughter In The Park’s first show of the 2019 Summer Season. Runners will cross the finish line into the audience space, where they can join the crowd for free stand-up performances beginning at 2:00 p.m. Refreshments provided by our sponsors.
Prizes will be awarded for top finishers. Runners are encouraged to race dressed as their favorite sitcom character. Prizes awarded for best costumes. Can you beat your best time while channeling Urkel?
NYLaughs.org is New York City’s only community-serving nonprofit comedy organization, providing free stand-up performances in New York’s parks and public spaces. Their hope is to enrich NY lives and build community, greater happiness, and health while deepening an appreciation of a uniquely NY cultural asset, stand-up comedy! Laughter In The Park (#LITP) is our summer series and we’re thrilled to kick off our 13th season in Staten Island on June 30!

Laughter in the Park
Laughter in the Park is a free, outdoor weekly comedy series, presented by NYLaughs.org, that takes place over the course of four weeks throughout the summer. Every Sunday starting June 30, you can catch up to two hours of stand-up comedy performed by some of comedy's most innovative and talked about artists. Please bring a blanket and a picnic basket! Get ready for a comedy picnic!
Headliner June 30: Todd Barry
Todd Barry has released three one-hour stand-up specials including his latest one for Netflix, “Spicy Honey” He's appeared on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," "The Late Show with David Letterman, " "Conan" and "Late Night With Seth Meyers" and his acting credits include "The Wrestler," "Road Trip," "Flight of the Concords," "Chappelle's Show," "Spin City," and "Sex and the City." You may have heard his voice on the animated series "Bob’s Burgers," "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist," and "Aqua Teen Hunger Force." Todd is also the author of the critically-acclaimed 2017 travel memoir "Thank You For Coming To Hattiesburg."
