Washington Square Park Youth Activities Coordinator, Miss Debbie, is hosting an afternoon of environmental fun for kids of all ages!

Join in on some Zero Waste Weaving with the Children's Museum of the Arts as they create a giant tapestry out of recycled plastic bags. Help save the bees by making seed bombs out of natural materials that are filled with seeds of wildflowers native to NYC.

The Honeybee Conservancy is a non-profit that inspires and implements solutions to help honey and native bees through education, research, habitat restoration, and advocacy.

The Children’s Museum of the Arts introduces children to world-class contemporary art exhibitions. CMA is currently in the midst of celebrating its 30th anniversary with CIVICKIDS: Make Art. Make A Difference, a year-long series of exhibitions, community events, and digital art calls that foster civic engagement and shared community pride through art-making. Explore the hashtag #CMACIVICKIDS to see artwork created throughout part of the campaign!
