Take a closer look at the fun beneath our feet!  There are so many more creatures crawling and slithering at or beneath the surface than meets the eye.

Earthworms, millipedes, sowbugs, and other decomposers play a vital role in healthy forest ecosystems.  We will take a short walk on the trail near the nature center in search of invertebrates and use magnifying glasses, bug boxes, and our observational skills to examine them more closely. You may wish to bring a digital camera. This free program is geared towards ages 8-12 and is part of the Time Warner Cable Awesome Afternoon series. Registration required.
