Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with NYC Parks and New York City Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment for this free film!

In this 2014 biopic, famed labor organizer and civil-rights activist Cesar Chavez (Michael Peña) is torn between his duty to his family and his commitment to securing a living wage for farm workers.This wonderful film also stars John Malkovich, America Ferrera, and Rosario Dawson.

You should come before 7:00 p.m. to get your spot for the movie. Please bring your own picnic blanket or chair. Food is OK, but no alcohol or smoking is permitted.
