Organized leagues or special events need a permit to use an athletic field or court. For people under 18, the permit is free. For those 18 and over, a fee is required.

Kayak/Canoe Launch SitesStarlight Park

Due to construction, the boat dock in Starlight Park is temporarily removed from the water and is not accessible. The dock will be restored in Fall 2019.
Anticipated Completion: Fall 2019

ParkStarlight Park

Due to construction of a new pedestrian bridge over the Bronx River, the portion of the river south of E. 174th St. and north of Westchester Avenue (Starlight Park) will be closed to paddling on most days during the period from June 2019-November 2019. For more information, please go to www.bronxriver.org.
