The workshop is outdoors.  For your comfort, bring a mat, blanket, or folding chair to sit on. Feel free to bring your own pens, pencils and paper. Supplies will be provided for those who need supplies.  All levels from beginner to advanced are welcome.

Please email to register, and note that the class size is limited to 15 participants and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis on the day of the workshop.

Seeds of the League is the Art Students League's community program

Please note: This summer, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we're offering outdoor programs with limited attendance so that you can have a safe and enjoyable time in parks. Based on New York State guidance for sports and recreation during COVID-19, we’ve put protocols into place to keep our participants and staff safe and healthy. We're asking everyone to help us stay safe:

  • Stay home if you're sick
  • Maintain six feet of physical distance between households
  • Wear a face covering
  • Wash your hands

Additionally, we encourage participants to bring their own hand sanitizer to our programming.

Note: Some programs may be modified, rescheduled, or cancelled due to weather, health, or safety concerns. This even will be canceled if it is raining.
