'Ballpark: Baseball in the American City' Lecture & Book Signing

Hear from architectural historian and critic, Paul Goldberger, as he discusses the history of baseball through the stories of vibrant and ever-changing ballparks. An investigation of New York City’s great stadiums will illuminate the city’s love affair with America’s favorite pastime.

This program is held in conjunction with the exhibition, “Home Plate: A Celebration of the Polo Grounds” on view until January 5, 2020.

The lecture will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A book signing will follow. Copies are available for purchase in the museum’s gift shop.
