Join a Riverside Park Conservancy Zone Gardener to explore nature, learn about the park, and discuss special topics in urban horticulture.
There 20,000 species of bees in the world of which approximately 416 live in New York State and 200 are our neighbors in New York City. Around the globe all bee species populations are declining due to how land is used and the use of pesticides. This workshop will explore native bee species and view some of the native plants that can help reverse population declines.
Wear comfortable shoes.

Know Before You Go

The 79th Street Boat Basin marina is currently closed. No vessel dockage, moorage, anchorage or launch services are available. The marina will be dredged and reconstructed to modern codes and standards. The marina is anticipated to reopen in 2025.
