Volunteer with Natural Areas Volunteers (NAV) at Pelham Bay Park to help protect young trees from deer and rabbit browse. Volunteers will be trained in proper fitting and installation of tree guards. These tree guards will deter deer and rabbit from rubbing and feeding on young trees.
Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants and clothing that can get dirty.
Space is limited. Registration is required for this event.
Please meet your NAV Technical Leader at the North East Corner of Orchard Beach Parking Lot.

NYC Parks has removed slides in this park due to a manufacturer recall. The manufacture is currently working on an improved design and redesigned slides will be installed as soon as possible.
