MillionTreesNYC Spring 2013 Volunteer Planting Day

Join MillionTreesNYC and fellow volunteers to make New York City greener and greater, by volunteering to help plant 20,000 trees at parks citywide!

Every planting season, MillionTreesNYC engages enthusiastic, energetic, and environmentally–minded New Yorkers in volunteer tree planting activities. Whether you're a veteran planter or this is your first time participating, your contribution will ensure the growth of healthy new forests within our parkland for many years to come. 

Registration is required. Please register as an individual or group leader (if you are planning on inviting a group) for one of the following city park planting sites.

The Orchard Beach Nature Center is currently closed for repairs.

PlaygroundsSweetgum Playground

NYC Parks has removed slides in this park due to a manufacturer recall. The manufacture is currently working on an improved design and redesigned slides will be installed as soon as possible.
