Ocean Breeze Park Tree Guard Installation

Volunteer with Natural Areas Volunteers (NAV) at Ocean Breeze Park to help protect our young trees from deer and rabbits. Volunteers will be trained in proper fitting and installation of tree guards. These tree guards will prevent deer and rabbit from rubbing and feeding on young trees. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants and clothing that can get dirty. Please meet your NAV Technical Leader at the corner of Quintard Street and Nugent Avenue. Space is limited. Registration is required for this event.

Know Before You Go

Recreation CentersOcean Breeze Track & Field Athletic Complex

Please be advised that Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex will be closed on Sunday, October 9th due to road closures in the surrounding area. Also, on Monday, October 10th (Columbus Day) Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex will be closing at 5:00pm. The facility will be open at 6:00am and will be closed at 5:00pm in observance of the holiday. All programming scheduled before 5:00pm that day will run as planned.
