Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.

New York City is home to an amazing abundance of wildlife. This is an opportunity for GreenThumb gardeners to learn about wildlife and native plants that are salt-spray tolerant and outside of the most populated neighborhoods of the city. Our Urban Park Rangers will be your guides as you walk around Marine Park hoping to catch a glimpse of some of the unique birds that call this park home. Birding programs are appropriate for all skill levels. Binoculars are available for use but supplies are limited.

Facilitated by NYC Urban Park Rangers. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch to eat at Marine Park after the program.

Please RSVP on Eventbrite. There will be a bus for pre-registered participants leaving at 9:00 a.m. from Atlantic Ave./Barclays area that will return after lunch concludes at 1:00 p.m.
