Traditionally, the moon we see in February is called the Snow Moon due to the typically heavy snowfall of February. On average, February is the USA’s snowiest month, according to data from the National Weather Service.

Our Urban Park Rangers will be your guides to the solar system, discussing the science history and folklore of the universe.

Astronomy programs feature the use of telescopes and binoculars to observe specific astronomical events. All equipment is provided.
