 Skate Parks

The Department of Parks & Recreation will provide an attendant during official operating hours. Each participant will be required to sign a waiver (those under 18 will need their guardian's signature) before being allowed to use the facility.

Rockaway Skate ParkShore Front Parkway at 91st Street (just off the boardwalk)(718) 318-4000This skate park is currently closed due to Hurricane Sandy.
Far Rockaway Skate ParkBeach 11th Street off Seagirt Blvd, near the Rockaway Beach Promenade(718) 318-4000Dawn to duskLocated just off the beach, Far Rockaway Skate Park is a smooth running concrete park with stairs, rails, ledges, bowled corners and a volcano. All edges are covered with metal for a smoother grind. There is a parking lot conveniently located adjacent to the skate park.This skate park is unsupervised. Scooters and inline skates are permitted.
Canarsie Skate ParkNortheast corner of the park6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.This concrete skate plaza is complete with boxes, rails and ramps. Unique to Canarsie Skate Park, there is an obstacle trail around the perimeter of the park which allows skateboarders to practice more tricks.This site is unsupervised.
Seba Playground Skate ParkNear Gerritsen Avenue and Seba AvenueDawn to duskCombines west coast and plaza style skating with two quarter pipes, steps, grinding rails and ramps.This site is unsupervised.
