Green Harbor Ride is a bike ride organized by artist Anna Lise Jensen, as part of a multifaceted struggle to get a bike/pedestrian lane on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, using one of its 13 existing lanes, in order to create a greener NYC harbor.
Join in by riding your bike to the Old Stone House on September 12!
Along the way, snap pics and tag them #GreenHarborRide, #BrooklynUtopias2020, #JaneJacobsLivesHere and #OldStoneHouse. Start off from wherever you prefer - in Southwest Brooklyn, we are meeting at noon in front of Stand Gallery, 414 78th St, Brooklyn, NY 11209.
Arrive at the Old Stone House between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., enjoy outdoor refreshments (safely distanced), and learn how you can help to create a greener NYC with information about future steps for this ride.
This event is part of our Brooklyn Utopias: 2020 exhibition program.
