Drawing Onsite in Inwood Hill Park with Shelley Haven – FREE to Attend!

Join the Fort Tryon Park Trust and Shelley Haven at Muscota Marsh in Inwood Hill Park. Experience nature anew with artist’s eyes. Gain insights into selecting and framing your subject, create an artwork with her guidance and encouragement during the working session, then share a viewing of participants’ artworks.

FREE to attend! For beginning and experienced adult artists and mature young adults. Drawing materials provided, or bring your own favorite supplies. Bring a blanket and portable stool or chair for flexible drawing options. Limited park bench seating is available.

Class size is limited to 15 registered participants.

This program is supported by a City Artist Corp Grant awarded to visual artist Shelley Haven for this Creative Public Engagement project. #CityArtistCorps

The East Dock at Muscota Marsh is temporarily closed for repairs. As an alternative, please use the boat launch at Inwood Hill Park or at Sherman Creek.
