Sunset Yoga

6:45 p.m.8:00 p.m.

This event repeats every week on Wednesday between 5/18/2022 and 8/31/2022.

Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.

Enjoy free yoga classes while overlooking the beautiful Hudson River and basking in the glow of the setting sun!

Bring a towel or a yoga mat and water. Use your masks and socially distance as appropriate.

Abby’s Lawn is slightly sloped and there are some uneven spots. Rain or wet ground cancels the class. For cancelations, check the Fort Tryon Park Facebook Page.

Please note: There is no advance registration. Arrive early as capacity is limited and attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis. Every attendee must sign an NYC Parks/Fort Tryon Park Trust waiver on-site at each session. You must sign in each week. Sign the waiver with our volunteer starting 6:30 p.m.

About the Instructor

Certified instructor, Stacey Linden, has been teaching yoga for twenty years and it has been integral in her life — physically, mentally, and spiritually. We are happy to have her share its many facets with our park community. Stacey teaches at all levels and believes yoga should be practiced, not “perfected.” Every time we step onto our mats, we can be just a little surprised by where our bodies, minds, and breath are at that moment.

Sunset Yoga is a program presented by the Fort Tryon Park Trust.

Location Details:
Abby's Lawn is on the northern end of Linden Terrace on a sloped and grassy area. Bring bug spray, mat, and water.

Know Before You Go

Fort Tryon Park

We're reconstructing some of the pathways in Fort Tryon Park to improve park access. This work will be done in phases. During Phase 1, the path along Broadway between Arden Street and near Sherman Avenue, and the connecting path west, are currently closed. Please use alternate pathways.
