Fort Tryon Park has long been a place of healing and health, especially during the stress of the pandemic. Take in the majestic views of the Hudson River while boosting your mental and physical health at weekly classes with instructor Robert Martinez.
Tai chi is a system of movements and positions believed to have developed in 12th Century China. Tai chi techniques aim to address the body and mind as interconnected systems. Benefits include improved balance, pain management, improved brain function and sleep quality, and communal activity.
These classes are suitable for all levels. Wear comfortable clothing and bring water.
