What is an arthropod? What is the difference between an insect and an arachnid? What are spinnerets and who uses them? This exciting lesson teaches students to distinguish between insects and arachnids based on their physical characteristics. Kids learn what arachnids have in common and see a live tarantula up close.

For ages 4 years old and older.

Please note: Space is limited and RSVP is required. Please register on Eventbrite.

This program is generously supported by the Greenacre Foundation and the Fort Tryon Park Trust.
