Curator-led Tour of "Who Takes Care of New York?"

Lindsay K. Campbell, Research Social Scientist with the USDA Forest Service, will lead a tour of the exhibition Who Takes Care of New York? In this tour, you will hear first-hand from the artists, scientists, and care-takers who have made this exhibit possible.
This event is free and open to the public.
Who Takes Care of New York? is organized by the NYC Urban Field Station, a partnership between USDA Forest Service researchers (Lindsay Campbell; Michelle Johnson; Laura Landau; Erika Svendsen), NYC Parks (Caitlin Boas), and the Natural Areas Conservancy, with a mission to improve quality of life in urban areas by conducting, supporting, and communicating research about social-ecological systems and natural resource management; Pratt Institute’s Spatial Analysis and Visualization Initiative (Jessie Braden; Can Sucuo?lu; Case Wyse; Josephina Matteson; Zachary Walker; Lidia Henderson), a multi-disciplinary mapping research lab and service center within Pratt Institute that focuses on using geospatial analysis and data visualization to understand NYC communities; and Independent Curator, Christina Freeman.
Tour meets in the Community Partnership Gallery on the 2nd Floor of Queens Museum.

Flushing Meadows Corona Park
Due to construction, the 111th Street Parking Lot (Henry Hudson Entrance) is closed as of May 28, 2019. Please view this project on our Capital Project Tracker page for the latest updates.
Anticipated Completion: Spring 2020
World's Fair Marina
Due to a major planned reconstruction project, Pier 1 at the World's Fair Marina is currently closed. Limited transient dockage is available for smaller recreational vessels - please contact the Dockmasters office at 718-478-0480 or VHF Ch71 for more information. There is no dockage available for larger vessels or commercial vessels, including passenger pick-up and drop-off. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please check back with the World's Fair Marina in the future for updates.
