Printmaking in the Park: Mobile Print Power

Saturday, May 27, 2017

2:00 p.m.5:00 p.m.

Join Mobile Print Power for a multilingual drawing and silk screen printing session to create images for an upcoming public artwork.

Inspired by the luminaires of the 1964/65 World’s Fair, a series of illuminated sculptures will guide parkgoers with graphic images that symbolize a specific place or potential experience within the park. Mobile Print Power will facilitate two multilingual drawing and silk screen printmaking sessions to create the images for the luminaires. The project will build on wayfinding suggestions that came out of The World's Park, a project of the Design Trust for Public Space in partnership with the Queens Museum and NYC Parks.

This event is in collaboration with the UNIQLO Park Expressions Grant
