One of the city's most iconic parks, and the site of two twentieth century World's Fairs, Flushing Meadows Corona Park continues to draw and delight visitors. From historic walks, to scenic trails, to sports and activities, there's always something to do here. You can play soccer, baseball, tennis, volleyball, cricket and more; work out at our recreation center or our indoor pool; explore the park's lakes and trails by foot, bike, or kayak; or visit one of the park's many cultural and civic institutions. Al Oerter Recreation Center
New York City’s recreation centers and indoor pools remain closed to the general public until further notice to provide COVID-19 related services as well as free childcare options for children who are scheduled for blended learning. To learn more or to apply for the childcare program, please visit the New York City Department of Education’s Learning Bridges program page.
Once we reopen, NYC Parks will extend all existing recreation center memberships to cover the length of time we are closed to the general public.

World's Fair Marina
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are service changes at this marina.
Marinas, boatyards, and boat launches are open for personal use of vessels only. Group activities, social gatherings, vessel charters, and rentals are prohibited. Vessel servicing, fueling, and pumpout stations are open. Please maintain strict social distancing of at least six feet and clean and sanitize your vessels after each use.
Also, transient and seasonal moorings will not be available for the 2020 season.
World's Fair Marina
Due to a major planned reconstruction project, Pier 1 at the World's Fair Marina is currently closed. Limited transient dockage is available for smaller recreational vessels - please contact the Dockmasters office at 718-478-0480 or VHF Ch71 for more information. There is no dockage available for larger vessels or commercial vessels, including passenger pick-up and drop-off. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please check back with the World's Fair Marina in the future for updates.
