Winter Jam NYC

Enjoy all the fun of a ski resort vacation, minus the hassle of travel and expenses. On Saturday, Parks presents a day of FREE, snow-filled activities to remind New Yorkers that winter can be enjoyable. Manhattan's East River Park becomes a plentiful playground packed with the full spectrum of snow games and sports, including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, ice climbing, and snowman building, as well as the more relaxing perks of fancy resorts like live entertainment, a warming hut, and yummy snacks. For one day of the year, it's a good thing to be left out in the cold!
