Sunday, May 5, 2019
1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.
Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.
Naguake NYC is a Caribbean indigenous community in the diaspora eager to share their culture and grow community ties with all living things on mother earth.
Dyckman Farmhouse Museum has offered its space to allow multiple gatherings to take place on site. The drum circle and ancient cultural stories of the Taino and Lenape will be shared. Please bring a plate to share and a stick so we can help you carve a walking stick. Bring your drum, rattle, voice, and positive spirit.
Anyone interested in a nature walk in Inwood Hill Park to hear more ancient stories after the gathering – feel free to join us.
