Movies Under the Stars: Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Join NYC Parks, Council Member Paul Vallone and the New York City Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment for a free film.

Rey learns the ways of the Force from Luke Skywalker, and develops a telepathic bond with Kylo Ren, who is struggling to master the Dark Side. Meanwhile, Stormtrooper-turned-Resistance fighter Finn goes on a risky mission behind enemy lines.

Know Before You Go
You should arrive before 8:00 p.m. to get your spot. Feel free to bring a blanket to sit on; there will be a limited supply of chairs available. Bottled water is OK, but no glass. Reservations are not taken; space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. All are welcome!

Due to renovations, Joe Michaels Mile is closed from the Bayside Marina to Northern Boulevard. The section between Fort Totten and Bayside Marina is open, and can be accessed from the Fort Totten entrance and 28 Avenue overpass (stairs and ramp are both open). There is no access from 35 Avenue/Crocheron Park overpass. Updates will be posted here when available. We apologize for any inconvenience. Total project duration is one year.
