Join NYC Parks and the Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) this June for four outdoor film screenings in Columbus Park. This summer, NYC Parks in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, will host movie showings throughout the five boroughs.
The Professor: Tai Chi's Journey West is a feature documentary about Tai Chi and one of its great masters, Cheng Man-Ching, a man who brought Tai Chi and Chinese culture to the West during the swinging, turbulent '60s. This documentary film tells his remarkable story and features Tai Chi as a martial art and a spiritual practice.
Come early! Before this screening, we will have activities related to the movie.
