Central Park Tour: Marathon Route

Learn the history of some of the Park's highlights along the marathon route that will be in the spotlight on race day, from where the runners enter the park to the finish line! The route involves moderate inclines and lasts 75 minutes.

The ticket price of $15 (Members $10) oncludes use of tour audio equipment. Arrive early for check-in. Space is limited; advance registration required at (212) 360-2726

Ticket sales are final. Tours take place rain or shine, except in extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, sustained winds of 30mph or more, snowstorms, and a wind chill below 25 or heat index above 95 degrees).

Know Before You Go

ParkCentral Park

The Public Theater’s Free Shakespeare in the Park production of Troilus and Cressida will contain effects including the use of loud sounds, blank gunshots, and simulated explosions. The production will run nightly through August 14 at the Delacorte Theater (located mid-park at 80th Street on the southwest corner of the Great Lawn). Please visit the Public Theater's website for more information about the show and its special effects.
