>Bryant Park Kids Week: Broomball Open Play

Tuesday, February 19, 2019

4:00 p.m.6:00 p.m.

This event repeats every week on Tuesday and Thursday between 2/19/2019 and 2/21/2019.

Drop by with your kids and learn a new sport: broomball! No experience is required, and we provide helmets, sticks, and a referee. What is Broomball? It’s like hockey, minus the skates. Broomball is a fast-paced, exciting winter sport played on ice wearing sneakers. Two teams with Broomball sticks maneuver to try and score the ball into the opponent’s net—but, because it’s played in sneakers, ice skating experience is not required. Recommended for children ages 10 and up (younger children can participate with parental consent).

Bryant Park Kids Week

Families are invited to stop by and participate in FREE skating, arts, and movement programming during the week of February 18 - 22 at Bank of America Winter Village! From skate lessons and broomball demos to dance classes and crafts, there’s something for everyone. Most programs are designed for kids ages 5 – 12, but some sessions may be best for older or younger kids. Find the full schedule and more details on our website.
