Arts, Culture & Fun: Make Your Mark - Hike and Paint

Take a short hike with a Ranger and collect natural objects of interest.  Once we have our bounty we will meet with a trained artist in watercolors and we'll put those discoveries on paper turning nature into art. To register, visit the Ranger Registration page. Registration will begin March 28 and end March 31. 

  • 1:00 - 1:30 p.m. Hike from the Blue Herron Nature Center along the Green Trail
  • 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. Watercolor painting class at the Blue Heron Nature Center

 Art supplies will be provided and beginners are welcome.

Ashton Agbomenou is a freelance painter and filmmaker with a BFA degree from Rhode Island School of Design. Born and raised in Harlem, New York, he studied classical painting at the High School of Art & Design and the Art Students League of New York.

This event is offered in partnership with the Art Students League of New York.
