Organized leagues or special events need a permit to use an athletic field or court. For people under 18, the permit is free. For those 18 and over, a fee is required.

The swing area within the playground near 150th St and Rockaway Blvd is temporarily closed and the swings for ages 2-5 years old removed to enable NYC Parks to repair and replace the safety surface underneath and around the swings.
