Saturday, May 18, 2019

10:00 a.m.1:00 p.m.

Forest Park, the third largest park in Queens, needs your help in maintaining its trails.

Spend a spring morning with us as we restore sections of the Yellow hiking trail. Volunteers will learn how to identify and safely remove invasive plants and help with other tasks in order to help create a healthier ecosystem.

Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Please bring your own water bottle and snack for this event. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone.

Please note: Registration for this event is required by May 17. To register, please visit the Forest Park – Yellow Trail Restoration registration page.

This event is sponsored by NYC Parks, The Friends of Forest Park and The Forest Park Trust, Inc.
