Join the Stewardship Team and the Friends of Alley Pond Park on Family Day! Gather family and friends for a wonderful day outdoors caring for natural areas. Volunteers will help plant trees in the forest of Alley Pond Park. Trees provide so many benefits to New Yorkers such as improved air and water quality, reduced pollution, and lower energy costs.

Participants will be trained in proper planting techniques. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Please bring your own water bottle. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone.

Groups larger than 10, please contact Stewardship@parks.nyc.gov before registering.
