Weather-permitting, opens daily at 10 a.m. with last boat rentals at 5:30 p.m. The boats must be returned by 6:30 p.m. Rentals are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Rowboats (up to 4 people per boat); nine-foot Ocean Kayaks $12 first hour, $3 each additional 15 minutes. $30 cash deposit required per boat.Visit the Central Park Conservancy website for more information.

The Public Theater’s Free Shakespeare in the Park production of Troilus and Cressida will contain effects including the use of loud sounds, blank gunshots, and simulated explosions. The production will run nightly through August 14 at the Delacorte Theater (located mid-park at 80th Street on the southwest corner of the Great Lawn).
