This program will teach the essential of strength training and conditioning. Highlighting area's such as smart goals, stretching, proper warm ups, spotting, and periodization. Participants will be able to assemble safe and solid workout programs costumed to their own personal long and short term goals. This program will also promote gym safety and lifetime wellness. Each member will document and evaluate their progress.

Zumba is a fusion of Latin, International and popular music dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system!  The routines feature aerobic, fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body with easy to follow dance steps.  This instructor is part of the NYC Parks Fitness Instructor Training Program.
