Green Teens

Teens will learn about making a “green positive impact in their community, local park, and in the recreation center. The teens will engage in tasks such as recycling, removing litter, watering trees, participating in workshops, and encouraging others not to litter. They will also serve as role models for their younger peers.

Goal: To obtain education on sustainability and volunteering throughout the Greater New York Area.

Demographics: Teens Ages 13-19

This program will teach the essentials of strength training and conditioning. Highlighting areas such as smart goals, stretching, proper warm up’s, spotting, and periodization.  Participants will be able to assemble safe and solid workout programs costumed to their own personal long and short term goals. The program will also promote gym safety and lifetime wellness.

Goal: Learn proper fitness techniques and the importance of daily physical fitness.
