Seniors can come into the fitness room on Mondays to learn how to utilize the fitness room equipmment without causing harm to themselves.  They will recevie assitance in putting together a routine that suits their needs. Progress cards will be issued so they can track their progress.

Introduction to crochet and knitting techniques. Participants will learn new stitiches and techniques in knitting or crocheting. Participants will make blankets so they can donate them to newborns at local hospitals.

Track & Field Team Events - 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, Shotput, Long jump and Turbo Javelin, Relays.    Biomotor abilites will be develop. Speed, Strength, Stamina, Suppleness and Skill. Participants should have sweatsuit for outdoor practices in cool weather. Practices are held at Thomas Jefferson Park.

Mighty Milers is a program in collaboration with NYRR that records weekly mileage of participants. Prizes are based on total mileage completed over the course of 12 weeks.

To provide age appropriate recreational, leisure and social activities in a safe and healthy environment for teen population between the ages 13-17 years old. During the session participants will learn the rules various games including billiards pin pong and chess. Positioning(billiards) Angles(ping pong) and Strategy(chess) will be covered to various games and will participate in a three game tournament.
