The indoor pool is 30 feet wide and 75 feet long and ranges from 3.5 feet deep to 8.5 feet deep. A swimming cap is highly recommended of all swimmers.

Swim Team Practice

NYC Parks offers talented youths between the ages of 6 and 18 an opportunity to join a Parks swim team. Swimmers train for High Point Meets and the Borough Cup Championship.

Practice sessions are usually held three times a week. Our practice sessions emphasize stroke technique, endurance and speed training, starts and turns, and rules and sportsmanship.

Aqua Boot Camp

Low to high-impact aerobics class held in the shallow and deep end of the pool. These classes utilize the resistance and buoyancy of water to tone the muscles while protecting the joints.

A swimming cap is highly recommended of all swimmers.

The swimming pool is open for members to exercise or use the pool for recreational swimming.

*Please note there are no lap lanes set up in the pool during these sessions, therefore there is no lap swimming permitted during General Swim.
