Serve up some fun at an NYC Parks pickleball court near you! This fast-paced, fast-growing paddle game is a cross between badminton, ping pong, and tennis. Learn how to play at one of our recreation centers, and then take to an outdoor court near you for hours of fun!
If you want to learn how to play pickleball, one easy way is through joining a recreation center near you! Many of our recreation centers offer an introduction to the sport through drills, clinics, and game play with other members. Be sure to look for a pickleball class in your neighborhood!
Some of our tennis courts are also lined for pickleball play. At these courts, a tennis permit is required during the tennis season, which lasts from the first Saturday in April to the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Visit our Tennis at NYC Parks page to purchase a full-season or single-play tennis permit.
